The 1990's "grunge" makeup look.
Hello Dolls!!!
After crazy and colorful 80's to the fashion was
returning the natural makeup. The colors of the cosmetics supposed to be warm-
the main colors included browns and beiges, which emphasized the beauty and
modeled the face.
The hairstyles were rather "quiet" too. In the 90's dominated straight, smooth and shaded hair. A sensation made "Rachel haircut", one of the heroines of the TV series "Friends" played by Jennifer Aniston. On the other hand, women very often chosen the short cut hair- shaded, very short on the back and sides, but longer on the top and front of the head.

The inspired makeup look of the 1980's.
Hello Dolls!!!
The 80's era is very colorful and fun. The faces were
heavily painted, a lot of emphasized were placed on the eyes, cheeks and lips
and a lot of colors were used. The blending was not a practice time of this
period. What you can see on the 80's is the color black eye shadow all up to
the eyebrows. This era is the time when a lot of colorful combination smoky eye
were born and became widely used. The 80's were such a contrast compare to the
70's which were focused more on delicate, glowing features, very natural boho
style look. Some women actually opted for a foundation that was a little bit
lighter than their natural skin tone. The reason being is because it allowed
all the colors that were using on the face to really pop out.
There is one think that you have to remember of the
80's is the accurate name OTT- Over The Top. "If your makeup doesn't look
half way clownish then you haven't accomplished the look yet".

The 1970's makeup look (inspired by Farrah Fawcett).
Hi dolls!
Today we will travel back to the 1970's era and
recreated another historically accurate makeup look.
First I will give you a little background information about
characteristics of this era.
This period is a time of contrasts. The main impact on
the trends in fashion and make- up was a music. The enormous popularity had a
disco and bands like ABBA - so it seems natural that women wanted to be like
their musical idols, and show up at a party in the phenomenal outfit. On the
other hand, for the entire Western culture it has become an important hippie
movement, which put on the wildness, naturalness and pastel colors. So there
was two main trends makeup in the 70's.
